I was invited to be part of a group show at Village Arts - Rakau - A celebration of wood…
This exhibition is supporting some beautiful pigment prints by Adrienne Martyn.

… so I had a play with materials and series was the result. -
The first is - Almost all paper is still wood - 12 works titles ‘Ex Libris’ cut paper works,

and ‘Lamelae’ a set of 4 repurposed packing pieces.

And the second series is - For The Love of Wood - 12 works titled ‘Reading Rings’ slices of beautiful branches, and ‘It’s All Sacred’ 5 carved Kauri panels,

and lastly a Swamp Kauri Panel.

I really enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone with these works and also just having a play.
