Being Organised . Inventory System . part 1

I find it so important to have a good inventory system in place and working well for me. I am naturally an organised person, but using a system that makes it so easy is a huge bonus.
Pros of a good system :
* It shows where all your pieces of art are at any moment.
* It's visually pleasing to show clients/galleries your work.
* It's a great record of your full career.
* It has all buyers and galleries details in one spot.
* It has a public platform available for buyers to contact you
directly.
* You can record where each piece of art has been previously, so until a piece is sold, you send it out to fresh new galleries each time it is available.
The system I use, that does all of this and more is from @artworkarchive

Being a cloud-based system, is also a great benefit, as there is peace of mind that all my data will not be lost if something ever happens to my computer.

There is a great Collections feature, so it is easy to separate your different series of work, again this is a great feature to use for clients and galleries who are interested in a specific series.

I use the Professional package at around $140 NZ per annum, for what I get (HEAPS) this is a cheap cost. Apprentice is around half that and is a great package to start on.

Artwork Archive also does a free 30 day trial !

This is such a big topic, Part 2 will definitely feature more of the Do's and Don'ts.
