Have a Testimonial Page

I believe it is very beneficial to have a testimonial page on ones website. It does several actions a) it builds trust for clients who may be looking to purchase your work, it shows you are not a 'fly by night' artist. b) it gives a good cross section of your work in different environments, not all white wall and staged for social media. c) on 'bad' days, it gives you (the artist) a reminder that there are people out there wanting and willing to purchase your work.
Do :
- do credit the owners for the pics
- do include the pics even if not of stunning quality, to me this adds more reality.
- do get the buyers to write a sentence to go with their pic, their words will add a depth and new insight to your pieces.
Don't :
- don't post pics without asking the clients permission.
- don't give out personal details, be vague eg Liz . Hokianga or add the country eg Liz . New Zealand.
